Airline Resumes Non-Stop London Heathrow-Jeddah Service, Boosting Travel Options and Business Ties
At the GREAT FUTURES expo in Riyadh, aimed at fostering business relations between the UK and Saudi Arabia, British Airways announced the reinstatement of its route to the Kingdom. Starting from 4 November 2024, travelers can book this new route, which will offer year-round service from London Heathrow to Saudi Arabia. The flights will be operated by British Airways’ Boeing 787 fleet, enhancing connectivity with a four-times-weekly service that complements the existing daily flights between Riyadh and Heathrow Terminal 5. Addressing the audience at Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District, Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer of British Airways, stated: “British Airways has a rich tradition of linking families, friends, and businesses between Saudi Arabia and London. With burgeoning opportunities for enterprises in both nations, we are excited to restore and strengthen our route, reinforcing the ties between our two kingdoms.” To mark the route's relaunch, British Airways is offering special return fares starting at 1905 SAR for World Traveller (economy) and 16079 SAR for Club World (business class). These promotional rates are available for booking until 5 June 2024. Source : breakingtravelnews
