Emirates Steps Up: Delivering Urgent Earthquake Relief to Turkey & Syria
In the wake of the devastating earthquakes that have struck Turkey and Syria, Emirates is stepping up in a big wayโproviding crucial humanitarian aid to the affected regions. Working alongside the International Humanitarian City (IHC) in Dubai, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Food Programme (WFP), the airline is ensuring that essential relief supplies make their way to those in need.
This humanitarian effort will take flight on Emiratesโ scheduled services to Istanbul, specifically EK 121 and EK 117, transporting vital medical equipment, shelter kits, and emergency aid. Over the next two weeks, Emirates SkyCargo will be transporting 100 tonnes of critical aid supplies to southern Turkey and northern Syria. These relief items include:
