More Flights, More Flexibility: Etihad Airways Expands Service to New York
Planning a trip to the United States this winter? Etihad Airways is making it easier than ever to get to New York, thanks to a major increase in flight frequency between Abu Dhabi and the Big Apple.
This winter, Etihad is adding four more weekly flights on the Abu Dhabi–New York route, bringing the total to 21 nonstop flights per week to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Whether you're heading to the U.S. for business or leisure, this expansion means more options, more flexibility, and a smoother travel experience.
The newly added flights will be operated using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, while the existing daily flights will continue on the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350. Both aircraft are known for being among the most fuel-efficient in the world, offering lower emissions and a quieter, more comfortable ride.
This schedule enhancement comes just in time for one of the UAE’s biggest annual events – the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, taking place from 17–20 November 2022 on Yas Island. Whether you're flying in or flying out, Etihad's increased capacity ensures you have the freedom to plan your journey your way.
