The World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards (WSTHA) has extended the deadline for its 2024 call for entries to 31 May. This extension provides innovators in sustainable travel with a valuable opportunity to gain global recognition through the newly launched program by the World Travel Awards.
Individuals and organizations worldwide dedicated to driving positive change in tourism are encouraged to participate in the competition, which is free to enter. With just one week remaining before the extended deadline, now is the time to submit entries.
An expert Advisory Board has identified 21 award categories that align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the net positive framework, focusing on People, Planet, Place, Prosperity, and Partnerships.

Global voting, open to professionals in the travel and tourism industry, will run from 14 June to 2 August. The winners will be revealed at the inaugural WSTHA Gala Ceremony, taking place in Belize on 27 September.
